Highlight of the Month: October 2026

As we step into October 2026, the dynamics of the Chinese zodiac shape the atmosphere in Singapore. This year, known as the Year of the Fire Horse, brings an inherent energy characterized by independence and drive. The bold nature of the Fire Horse invites individuals to embrace transformation and pursue momentum in both personal and communal aspects of life. The vibrancy of this zodiac can serve as a motivational backdrop for people to explore new avenues and engage more deeply with their aspirations.

In numerological terms, 2026 is marked by the Universal Year Number 1, calculated simply by reducing the sum of its digits (2+0+2+6=10, further reduced to 1). This symbolism of new beginnings resonates well with the characteristics of the Fire Horse, emphasizing a collective opportunity to plant seeds for future growth. As individuals reflect on past experiences, there is a natural inclination to initiate fresh starts that align with long-term goals.

October also brings the northeast monsoon season closer, a period characterized by increased humidity and afternoon thundery showers. Typical temperatures remain high, hovering between 33 to 35°C, reminding us that Singapore's climatic rhythm is distinct from temperate patterns. As the weeks progress, the outcomes of the energetic influence of the Fire Horse and the essence of the Universal Year 1 may inspire thoughtfulness and positive change amid the changing weather.
